Good news for people with techie skills or those who are simply looking to enter the computer field in the Colorado Springs area: Entegris, a computer manufacturing company that has been in the state for nearly two decades, is adding an additional 100 jobs to the Colorado Springs area soon.

Given that these jobs will likely require an advanced skill set rather than be temporary or minimum wage positions, they will definitely be welcome in the area by people seeking full-time employment as well as careers rather than jobs. People with computer science degrees who have had a difficult time finding new opportunities to use them will also benefit from the company’s growth

Job Creation in Colorado Springs Happening

According to some reports, Colorado Springs is likely to see the addition of hundreds of jobs in the coming months. For those who are out of work and who have been out of work for months, this is good news. There are many companies hiring and one of them, Stellar Restaurant Solutions, plans to announce big things within the area. Colorado Springs May Get New Wal-Mart's

News out of Colorado Springs job market centers on the expansion of Wal-Mart. The company has announced it will be moving ahead with its places to open several smaller grocery stores throughout the area. In doing so, it will create jobs; though no official number has yet been given to the number of jobs the expansion will offer to the Colorado Springs job market. The company purchased the former King Sooopers building located on Platte Avenue and Murray Boulevard. The company paid $1.65 for the purchase and made that purchase on January 20th of this year. The information is publically available with the El Paso County Clerk's Office. The company officially says it will take the existing structures and then remodel them into new stores. This building has stood vacant since 2006 when the previous company shuddered its doors in the wake of the recession.

Colorado Springs Jobs Increase from Progressive

For those who are looking for Colorado Springs jobs, Progressive may be the company to turn to right now. The company is planning to add 129 positions to its call center and that could help out the many unemployed or under employed in the region to land the jobs they need. The auto insurance company said it will hire in 2012, by midyear, to add more customer service and sales positions to the call center in Colorado Springs. This is the third time the company has expanded its staff in the area in the last 8 months. Could This Benefit You? For those struggling to find the right Colorado Springs jobs, this move could be a good one. The company is likely to hire telephone representatives that will answer customer needs and sales reps for the facility. The positions will require some level of experience. Individuals will need to have an understanding of sales techniques, but not a degree necessarily. Individuals will need to at least have a high school diploma plus two years of post high school education (or two years of experience in a call center.) The positions could include full time positions. These would pay between $13 and $14 per hour.
